Plant Care 102: Expand Your Knowledge

Welcome to Plant Care 102! This class is designed to expand your plant parent knowledge, with topics such as using moss poles, plant propagation and reproduction, caring for variegation, and more! The class includes a mini propagation box and plant cutting to grow at home! Also enjoy a 10% discount to be used in-store that day only.
Growing Semi-Hydro Class
September 13th at 12pm | $35 per person
This class is an introduction to growing house plants in soil-less substrates such as LECA and PON. Learn the benefits and basics of this alternative way to care for plants! At the end of the class, you will leave with a new self-watering pot with LECA! Also enjoy a 10% discount to be used in-store that day only.
Tissue Culture Acclimation Workshop

Ready to bring your plant-parenting skills to the next level? Or just need a refresh on the basics? In this class, we'll cover choosing the right plants for your space, understanding water and light requirements, and more! After a hands-on repotting session, everyone will be given a new plant and pot to bring home and love! Also enjoy a 10% discount to be used in-store that day only.
Botanical Watercolor Workshop and Popup

LITF will be hosting the studio Wild Botanical Atelier for an artist-led watercolor paint workshop! Learn step-by-step how to bring nature to life with delicate details and elegant florals on 8.5x11” watercolor paper - perfect for displaying in your home! This workshop is perfect to attend to improve your own artistic skills, or with a group to make memories along with your art! The Undead Plant Workshop - Diagnosis Common Plant Problems!
October 25th at 12pm | $35 per person
Want to bring your plants back to life? While we’re no Dr. Frankenstein, we’re here to help you rejuvenate and revive your plants in distress! Join us as we troubleshoot common plant problems and answer questions about all your ‘spooky’ looking plants. This workshop is designed to give you the tools to diagnose and treat common plant ailments.
Participants are welcome to bring in pictures of any plants they have specific questions about, but due to the nature of plant pests and diseases, will not be able to bring in any live plant specimens.
Staghorn Fern Mounting Workshop
November 8th at 1pm | $35 per person
Mounting a staghorn fern to a wooden plank is a classic way to display this gorgeous plant, and acts as a living piece of art for your home! This class will provide you with hands-on experience with the tools, materials, and process involved in mounting and caring for a staghorn fern. Besides leaving the class with your newly mounted plant, class participants will receive 10% in-store shopping that day only.
Coffee Cart Popup with Expresso Me Coffee & Black Friday Sales!

Caffeine? AND plants? It’s the perfect way to start your Saturday! Join us as we host Expresso Me Coffee Cart at LITF on January 18th from 11am-2pm. Espresso Me offers a variety of specialty coffees and custom lattes, and is sure to perk up your weekend!
Kokedama Workshop

Kokedama is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string.
Come to our workshop to make your own to bring home! All supplies are included, and you will receive tips and tricks to care for your work of art once you bring it home.

Yoga at LITF with Taylor & Co

Combine the power of plants with mindful movement! This in-house yoga session is taught by Taylor from Taylor & Co, and will guide participants through a dynamic, breath-centered vinyasa flow designed to build strength, improve flexibility, and quiet the mind. Move through a creative sequence of postures linked by intentional breath, leaving you feeling grounded, energized, and at ease. Afterwards, Taylor & Co will have skin care and self care products available at their popup in LITF!
